Vertical integration, in practice

Most insurance agencies are independent — which is good — but disconnected from how their customers actually use the policies they sell. We're not. Every day, our property management arm files claims, fields adjuster calls, and chases certificates of insurance from contractors. Our construction arm has to satisfy builder's risk requirements before a single nail goes in. Our title company has to bind policies before deals can close.

That feedback loop — operator, claimant, agent, all under one roof — means we know which carriers actually pay claims, which underwriters answer the phone, and which policies have holes that don't show up until you're standing in a flooded basement.

What we believe

The right coverage is cheaper than the wrong claim. We'd rather quote you something that costs $80 more a year and actually responds when something goes wrong than win on price and lose on the loss.

Renewals matter more than the first quote. A great rate on day one means nothing if it doubles at month 12. We re-market policies that drift out of line — and we tell you before the renewal lands, not after.

Service is a real product. COIs, mortgagee changes, address updates, additional insureds — these are the calls that actually take up our time. We make them fast and we make them right.
